About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Analyzing complex data sets: Utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, or R to extract insights from large datasets, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions.
• Developing data visualizations: Leverage tools like Matplotlib, Scene, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, and others to create engaging and informative data visualizations that tell a story and drive business outcomes.
• Conducting in-depth analysis: Employ statistical techniques, such as t-tests, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, regression, and principal component analysis, to identify patterns and relationships in data.
• Collaborating with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop solutions, and communicate findings through clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update your skills and knowledge to stay current with the latest developments in data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field: Such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst: With a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, or R: With experience working with complex data sets, developing data visualizations, and conducting in-depth analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate complex ideas simply, and present findings to senior leadership.
• Experience with data visualization tools: Familiarity with tools like Matplotlib, Scene, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, and others.
• Ability to work independently: Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

• Master's degree in a quantitative field: Such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with marketing analytics: Familiarity with marketing metrics, customer journey mapping, and attribution modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms: Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Certifications in data science or analytics: Such as Certified Data Scientist (CDS) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
