Remote Occupational Therapy in OR
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role involves delivering occupational therapy support through teletherapy to students, focusing on enhancing fine and gross motor skills to aid their educational development. Key responsibilities include conducting telehealth sessions tailored to individual student needs, developing and implementing therapeutic activities that promote motor skill improvement, documenting progress, and collaborating with educational staff to align therapy goals with academic objectives. Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in school-based settings.
- Proficiency in delivering occupational therapy via telehealth and teletherapy platforms.
- Strong knowledge and application of interventions targeting fine motor and gross motor skill development.
- Ability to engage effectively with students remotely and adapt therapy techniques to virtual formats.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
