OSUP is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in financial management, leadership, and process improvement. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting accurate and efficient financial operations while contributing to the continued growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities

About the Role The Accounting Manager plays a key role in supporting the Senior Accounting Manager by overseeing daily accounting operations, guiding a high-performing team, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on accounting work with team leadership and continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do Support management of the accounting team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP standards Analyze financial statements and identify trends, variances, and opportunities Lead account reconciliations for balance sheet and financial reporting Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality Develop and monitor key performance and quality metrics Partner with internal stakeholders and analytics teams to optimize reporting and processes Contribute to team development through coaching, training, and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong analytical responsibilities Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing or mentoring team members Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and forecasting Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Experience with data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and financial systems Preferred Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in healthcare or corporate accounting CPA or MBA Experience with process improvement methodologies Why Join Us?
