About Us

We are an UK-based company providing online remote tech support and SaaS products (sold via Shopify). We are expanding into the US market and need an account manager to run our customer acquisition channels: Thumbtack, Angi/Homeadvisor, Bark. Most Important Requirement – Please Read Carefully You must have proven, recent experience managing a Thumbtack business profile. Candidates without Thumbtack management experience will not be considered. Your Thumbtack experience should include: Setting up and verifying a Thumbtack business profile Optimizing service listings, pricing, and response templates Managing leads, responding to customer inquiries, and converting leads into jobs Understanding Thumbtack's credit/bidding system and budget management Other Responsibilities (Google Ads & Meta Ads) While Thumbtack is our top priority, you will also help with: Google Ads: Setting up and verifying Google Ads accounts (avoiding suspensions) Creating search campaigns for tech support and SaaS keywords Managing budgets, bids, and negative keywords Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram): Creating and managing ad accounts Running lead generation and traffic campaigns Basic audience targeting (interest, lookalike, retargeting) Nice to Have (but not required) Helping maintain our Google Business Profile Providing weekly performance reports (leads, cost per lead, conversion rates)

Requirements

At least 6 months of active Thumbtack management with verifiable results Basic to intermediate Google Ads experience (campaign setup, keyword management) Basic Meta Ads experience (ad creation, account management) Fluent English, responsive on Slack or Upwork messages US-based preferred (for platform compliance), but open to others with strong Thumbtack experience How to Apply (Strict Instructions) If you do not mention your Thumbtack experience, your application will be ignored. Please include in your proposal: Your Thumbtack experience – how many months, what services you promoted, your average response time and lead conversion rate. Your Google Ads and Meta Ads experience – briefly describe campaign types and budgets you have managed. Your preferred monthly fee (fixed retainer) and whether you want a performance bonus. A confirmation that you understand Thumbtack management is the primary focus of this role.

Compensation

Monthly retainer (you name your rate) plus a performance bonus based on qualified leads or booked jobs (negotiable). We are open to a 2–4 week trial period.
