Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Making outbound calls to patients, members, and customers to schedule appointments for preventative health screenings, assess for high-risk or other healthcare appointments, and provide personalized support
  • Conducting surveys to gather valuable insights and feedback from patients and members
  • Making welcome calls to assist members and patients with benefits and insurance information
  • Providing empathetic and patient-focused support to patients, patient representatives, providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve patient support and engagement

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Strong computer experience, including data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a patient-focused and empathetic approach
  • Ability to adhere to daily schedules and duties
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate caring and compassion in all interactions
  • A reliable computer with at least two monitors (22 inches or larger) with HDMI and Display ports
