Job Summary

As a Customer Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals, managing day-to-day planning and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. You'll also be responsible for customer service satisfaction and expectation management, staffing performance management and development, and health and safety management. Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of logistics professionals to achieve daily operational goals and objectives

  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service satisfaction and expectation management
  • Manage staffing performance and development, including training and coaching direct reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve logistics operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required
  • Logistics industry knowledge is advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations is advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components is intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production is advanced required

Qualifications

* H.S. diploma/GED required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field required
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required
  • Logistics industry knowledge is advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations is advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components is intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production is advanced required

Compensation and Benefits

* Salary: $65,000 per year
