Junior Data Analyst

Online Merchandising Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote with occasional onsite) Contract: Initial term through July 31 with strong extension potential Pay Rate: $20/hour

Overview

We are partnering with a Fortune 20 retailer to bring on an Online Merchandising Analyst to support the growth of their online marketplace. This team is focused on expanding product assortment on the website by onboarding new suppliers and ensuring their products are accurately represented and fully functional online. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to break into a corporate, eCommerce, or merchandising environment. Success in this role is less about deep experience and more about curiosity, work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the onboarding of new suppliers and their products onto the company’s website
• Ensure product listings are accurate, complete, and meet online merchandising standards
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve product setup or data issues
• Track and manage product data using Excel and internal systems
• Assist in improving processes that enhance supplier experience and online assortment
• Communicate regularly with suppliers via email to guide them through onboarding and troubleshooting
• Monitor trends in product demand and support efforts to expand online assortment accordingly

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Retail, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills, especially written (email-based communication is key)
• Comfortable working with Excel for basic tracking and organization
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
• Quick learner who can work with limited direction
• Positive, driven attitude with a strong work ethic

Preferred Backgrounds (but not required)

• Recent graduates or early-career professionals
• Retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience (store, hotel, restaurant, etc.)
• Exposure to merchandising, eCommerce, or data entry/operations work
• Interest in online retail, marketplaces, or digital product experiences
