Our Values: Excellence, People, Growth The opportunity The Lead Software Test Automation Engineer will drive the design, implementation, and execution of scalable test automation frameworks across our products and platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise in modern test automation tools with leadership responsibilities for guiding a Global team of Test Automation engineers. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded into every stage of the development lifecycle, drive shift-left practices with a focus on increasing test automation ROI (return on investment). How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group? Role responsibilities

  • Define and own the test automation strategy and roadmap across multiple projects.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of automation engineers, setting best practices in coding, automation, peer reviews, and test design.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for web tests (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress), API tests (Postman, Swagger) and backend testing.
  • Partner with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket).
  • Drive adoption of AI into automation frameworks, coding, test management.
  • Establish metrics / dashboards to track test coverage, execution and quality trends.
  • Drive adoption of shift-left testing by collaborating with developers and product managers during design and development phases.
  • Support performance, security, and other non-functional testing initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality ownership.
  • Work with a globally distributed team and ensure project coverage focusing on prioritization, tasking, and status reporting.
  • Act as the automation evangelist across the organization – educating cross functional teams on benefits of automation, the process and methodology for creating automated tests and tracking automation ROI.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, set goals, monitor performance, identify career paths, ensure that team members are cross-trained.

Do you have what we are looking for? Skills & expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with coding for test automation in an agile environment.
  • Strong hands-on coding experience in Playwright, Selenium required for automation framework design and development.
  • Innovative mindset to enable AI using tools like Co-pilot, Jira AI agents, Cursor, etc., in test automation efforts and testing activities.
  • Hands-on experience in testing tools/ frameworks like Cypress, Spock, Gherkin, Geb.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, XML, SQL, Database testing.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger.
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines, deployments and DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions, Docker, etc.
  • Supervisory experience.

Salary range (for US roles only) - $111,000 - $120,000 The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities.
