We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, maintaining a clean store environment, and ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented in an organized fashion. arenaflex is a leading retail and convenience store chain with a rich history dating back to the early 1970s. Founded by Peter Van Alyea, we have grown to 24 retail gas and convenience store locations, 16 of which are home to our Aztec Grills where fresh food items are prepared daily by our grill staff. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer has a warm welcome and a pleasant experience
- Process transactions on a POS register with accuracy and speed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
- Ensure merchandise is stocked and presented in an attractive and inviting manner
- Assist customers with propane needs and other services offered at select locations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Take direction from supervisors and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Essential Functions and Duties:
* Friendly, outgoing, and helpful attitude
- Ability to process transactions with accuracy and speed
- Willingness to take direction from supervisors and work as a team with colleagues
- Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment, including hot and cold weather conditions
- Ability to assist in stocking the cooler and handling chemicals and fuel/fuel fumes
