Remote Social Media Coordinator

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Social Media Coordinator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in New York, NY. This role will be remote. Responsibilities :

  • Support the Social Media Lead of Subsidiaries in executing organic social media strategy, content production, publishing, and workflow management across firm subsidiary brands in insurance and asset management.
  • Ideal for a social media professional with 1–3 years of experience who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting social media programs in regulated industries and understand the importance of brand governance, compliance review, and stakeholder management.
  • Own day-to-day organic social media content production and workflow management in Asana from intake through publishing.
  • Manage content scheduling, publishing, tagging, QA, and channel maintenance across key social platforms.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals with marketing, communications, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and subsidiary brands.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards, platform best practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Support social media governance processes, documentation, and playbooks.
  • Track performance and provide reporting on content effectiveness, engagement, and channel health.
  • Contribute to content ideation and creative briefing for platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Instagram.
  • Always represent the team professionally.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content publishing, or digital marketing.
  • Experience supporting social media programs in regulated industries, preferably financial services or insurance.
  • Strong experience with organic social media publishing and social content operations.
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management tools to manage content workflows.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance approval processes and tools such as Red Oak or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills and a polished, dependable presence.
