Responsibilities

As a Banking Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely resolution
  • Responding to requests for assistance and/or processing payments in a timely and effective manner
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes to maintain the quality of service we strive to provide
  • Providing feedback on call issues to improve our service delivery
  • Upselling products or services when appropriate to contribute to the overall success of our team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Proven call center experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM or higher
  • Proficiency in PC operation and navigation
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay composed and objective, even in challenging situations
  • Strong listening skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with upselling and cross-selling products or services
