As a Product Design Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in bringing our vision to life. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, test, and refine new products that meet the highest standards of performance, sustainability, and aesthetics. Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Modern Design, Projects, and cross-functional design teams to develop innovative product concepts and solutions

• Conceptualize and design new products, considering factors such as manufacturability, usability, and aesthetics
• Create detailed designs, models, and prototypes to test and refine product ideas
• Lead design reviews and contribute to peer design feedback sessions
• Present your work to cross-functional teams and leaders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Develop and maintain detailed design specifications and drawings
• Work with internal manufacturing teams and external vendors to optimize product design for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality
• Conduct failure analysis and design of experiments (DOEs) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Approve and describe product designs through various iterations
• Foster deep technical expertise by taking products from concept to production
• Ensure that products meet corrective and functional requirements, delivering top-tier equipment to our customers

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design or a related field

• Strong foundation in design principles and a passion for innovation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience creating parts and assemblies in 3D CAD software
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and other relevant design methodologies
• Working knowledge of finite element analysis and mathematical tolerancing
• Adaptability and comfort working in a rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to travel globally (up to 20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Mechanical Design or a related field

• Experience in product design for consumer electronics or home appliances
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and human-centered design
• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques
