Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves the store with a smile
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Assisting with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are accurately displayed and easily accessible to customers
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, identifying and addressing any potential issues promptly
  • Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
  • Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the physical stamina to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • A flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work a variety of shifts as needed
