Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Development Team Lead at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet project deadlines and objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of software developers: You'll be responsible for guiding, coaching, and mentoring a team of software developers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
  • Overseeing the software development lifecycle: You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborating with product managers: You'll work closely with product managers to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring that software solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients and customers.
  • Ensuring code quality: You'll be responsible for ensuring code quality through regular code reviews and testing, ensuring that software solutions are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Managing project timelines and deliverables: You'll be responsible for managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field: You'll need a strong foundation in computer science or a related field, with a focus on software development, algorithms, and data structures.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development: You'll need extensive experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and development tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role: You'll need experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving technical excellence.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: You'll need proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and development tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies: You'll need a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Nice-to-haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience with cloud technologies: You'll have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud computing, scalability, and security.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices: You'll have familiarity with Agile development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
