Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chat Support Specialist to moderate our online platforms, including our official Discord server. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our community remains a safe and respectful space for all users. This will involve monitoring chat activity, enforcing community guidelines, and providing support to users who may be experiencing issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate chat activity on our official Discord server, ensuring that users adhere to community guidelines and rules

  • Delete messages that violate community guidelines or rules
  • Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of community guidelines or rules
  • Mute users who have violated community guidelines or rules
  • Investigate reports made by users about violations of community guidelines or rules
  • Provide support to users who may be experiencing issues or have questions about our community guidelines or rules
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement community engagement strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community moderation

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in community moderation or customer support is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms is an asset
