Location: Remote (with occasional travel; and to Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ as needed) Our client, An Actuarial Consulting Company is seeking an entrepreneurial minded Actuary with expertise in Medicare OR Medicaid, actuarial theory, and affordable care act (ACA). What You Will Do

  • Support and lead actuarial analyses for state and federal healthcare programs
  • Work directly with senior leadership on pricing, policy, and regulatory projects
  • Analyze data, develop models, and communicate findings to clients
  • Contribute to client deliverables including reports, certifications, and presentations
  • Take increasing ownership of projects over time

What We are Looking For

  • ASA (or actively pursuing exams) preferred, but not required
  • 2–6+ years of actuarial or related analytical experience
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills (SQL, R, or Python a plus)
  • Ability to think independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Self-starter mindset with minimal need for day-to-day supervision or handholding
  • Experience working in a remote environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills—this is a client-facing environment
  • Interest in healthcare policy, insurance markets, or regulatory work
