Kubernetes Engineer – Weeknight Shift (Remote – U.S.) Location: Remote (U.S.) Clearance: Eligible for Secret Clearance Schedule: Weeknight Shift | 12:30 AM – 8:00 AM ET Employer: Rackner Where Reliability Meets Purpose Night operations demand the best. As a Kubernetes Engineer (Weeknight Shift), you’ll be the critical backbone keeping Air Force Platform One and Air Mobility Command systems online, secure, and resilient while the world sleeps. - Support continuous uptime for critical national systems
- Engineer and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters
- Use Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps for end-to-end automation
- Apply security-first principles and DoD compliance standards
- Perform proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
- Collaborate with elite engineers across time zones
What You Bring
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm
- Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container security
- Strong Linux and networking background
- CKA certification preferred
