Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Filing and Data Entry Specialist to join our part-time team. As a key member of our office support team, you will be responsible for reviewing daily sales reports, calculating employee timecards, maintaining employee files, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

As a Filing and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing daily sales reports from gas stations and calculating employee timecards on a weekly basis
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, including new hire paperwork and timecard verifications
  • Performing data entry tasks, including daily sales data and other administrative tasks as required
  • Answering phones and responding to inquiries from store managers and other stakeholders
  • Running background checks and I-9 verifications for new employees
  • Printing and reviewing new employee hiring forms received from store managers
  • Calling store managers to follow up on missing or incomplete forms
  • Filing new employee forms into employee files and re-filing original documents as required
  • Reviewing and printing invoices and submitting vendor applications as needed
  • Calculating employee timecards and printing timecard verifications for employees to sign

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in a clerical or filing role (preferably in an office setting)
  • 1 year of experience with computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and filing tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience with data entry software and other administrative tools
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with timecard calculation and payroll processing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
