It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential, and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful. Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Product Manager – Retail Applications & Data Insights, you'll be the driving force behind the store applications and data insights that power Sephora's beauty experience. The work you do will impact beauty, as you shape the tools and insights that help store associates work smarter, make better decisions, and deliver exceptional experiences for every client who walks through our doors. You'll be part of a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about building reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions that bring the best out of our stores and the people in them. What You'll Do:

  • Own the product roadmap and backlog for assigned products within Retail Applications & Data Insights, translating business and store priorities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization decisions aligned to portfolio strategy
  • Lead product discovery activities — including user research, store visits, and insight synthesis — while driving learning through experimentation, post-launch analysis, and continuous improvement
  • Define and track KPIs, ensuring outcomes are measurable and insights inform roadmap adjustments
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to accelerate the creation and iteration of product artifacts including PRDs, problem statements, opportunity assessments, user stories, and acceptance criteria — while applying strong product judgment to validate assumptions, data accuracy, and alignment to business priorities
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, Analytics, and Retail Operations to align on priorities, scope, and tradeoffs, leading agile ceremonies and maintaining a strong operating cadence across planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Proactively identify and remove blockers, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate product decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to diverse audiences
  • Develop a working knowledge of end-to-end store applications, platforms, and data flows, contributing to platform and architecture discussions and ensuring product decisions consider long-term maintainability, platform health, and data quality

What You'll Bring:

  • 5–7 years of product management experience delivering digital products in complex environments, with retail or omni-channel experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proven expertise in product ownership, including roadmap management, backlog prioritization, and strong prioritization trade-off decision-making, paired with clear, audience-appropriate written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to drive data-informed decision-making, including KPI definition, outcome measurement, and systems thinking across applications, platforms, and data
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to create, iterate, and communicate product artifacts — while applying critical thinking, validation, and domain expertise to every output
  • Strongly preferred: experience in analytics product management, instrumentation and telemetry, insight-to-action workflows, and familiarity with BI tooling such as Tableau and ThoughtSpot
