Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Service/Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reaching out to individuals who have requested more information on our supplemental benefits and scheduling Zoom meetings to discuss their options
  • Customizing new benefit plans and adjusting existing plans to fit the current needs of each client
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, providing attentive customer service and administrative support as needed
  • Performing benefit reviews for existing clients, helping with claims or adjustments, and ensuring accurate and complete documentation
  • Responding to and resolving client questions and concerns regarding their benefits
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ambition, motivation, and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience using CRM software a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience in the insurance or benefits industry
  • Familiarity with Zoom or other video conferencing platforms
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations
