Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Charleston, WV. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries and concerns. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
  • Providing accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction
  • Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable to access our systems and resources
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals to ensure exceptional service delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency, with occasional commutes to the office in Charleston, WV
  • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
