We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Loan Post Closer-Agency Shipper. Expectations:
- Review/audit closed loan files for accuracy and completeness, utilizing post-closing resources.
- Audit files and provide approval for internal funding authorization.
- Stack and deliver loans listed on loan sale, ship to required investors using their template prior to the lock expiration date.
- Complete delivery to assigned investor according to post-closing instructions.
- Follow up on missing items in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of banking experience, including loan processing or loan operations and customer service, strongly desired
- Dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
- Communication and sound judgment; strong decision-making skills
- Positive attitude; team-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills; outgoing and friendly personality
- Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills; time management skills
- Knowledge of banking regulations
- Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Bank’s secondary market policies and procedures
- Other bank policies and procedures as they apply to the secondary market lending function.
- Loan platforms utilized by the secondary market department.
- Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending.
- Investors’ guidelines
- Work well independently as well as within a team environment.
- Work well under pressure to consistently meet stated deadlines.
- Organize activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Quickly adapt to new procedures and processes as loan regulations change.
Hours:
- Primarily, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30
- Possible overtime and weekends
