. This role requires a blend of creativity, logistical expertise, and strong leadership skills to ensure seamless operations and outstanding attendee satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the world of sports and entertainment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage all logistical aspects of events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation. Develop detailed event budgets and manage expenses to ensure financial targets are met. Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, operations, security) and external vendors (caterers, AV, entertainment) to ensure successful event execution. Oversee event setup, operations during the event, and teardown. Source and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. Develop and implement event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and supervision of event staff and volunteers. Ensure all events comply with safety regulations, licensing requirements, and insurance provisions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders. Conduct post-event debriefs and prepare comprehensive reports on event success, including attendance, budget performance, and attendee feedback. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or challenges during event planning and execution. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management within the leisure and sports sector. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry. Demonstrated success in managing budgets and controlling event expenses. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules. Proven ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations effectively.
