West County Radiology is the largest independent private practice in the St. Louis area with 90+ radiologists, 10 radiation oncologists, and a full physics team for diagnostic and therapy physics. We have been in practice since 1969 and serve the Mercy Health System in the Midwest region. Our diagnostic radiology contracts include Mercy facilities in St. Louis and Oklahoma. Job Description: This position will be based onsite at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, Missouri (63141). Our pediatric radiologists share call duties. The schedule includes primarily onsite dayshift responsibilities with the Mercy Children's Hospital and it's medical staff. There are some weekday evenings and a few weekend evening shifts, as well as a holiday rotation. Some general diagnostic shifts (adults/pediatrics mix) can be worked remotely. Our pediatric radiologists read pediatric studies for all of our facilities, with all pediatric procedures being performed at our St. Louis location. You should be capable of interpreting basic adult general diagnostic radiology including plain films, ultrasound and CT. MR is optional. Mammography is not required.
