Senior Presales Engineer – ALM, MedTech

Job Description:

  • Act as a technical presales expert in North America for ALM and related topics
  • Develop & present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CSM, Product Management, R&D, and Support
  • Plan, manage and deliver POC’s (proof of concepts) and technical workshops
  • Act as a technical project manager for customer projects
  • Suggest potential solutions and/or alternatives to key customer and partner challenges
  • Support the sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers, partners or prospects
  • Develop technical responses for customer requests for information (RFI, RFP etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in presales, professional services or solution delivery within enterprise software
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven success in technical sales supporting enterprise customers in regulated industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with ALM, Requirements, Tests, Risk & Software Management
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps toolchains
  • Basic knowledge or at least one programming or scripting language like Java (J2EE), C++, Javascript, Python
  • Basic experience with relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
