You'll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you-because when you feel valued, you're empowered to do your best work.We're looking for a Network & Security Engineer to join an international environment where you'll help operate, support, and improve enterprise-grade network and security systems.What You'll DoSupport the operation and monitoring of enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures, helping ensure high availability and performanceInvestigate and resolve complex technical incidents (L2/L3), including high-priority (P1) issuesTake part in a 24x7 on-call rotation, providing out-of-hours support when neededCarry out regular maintenance activities such as firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and migrationsWork closely with global teams, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and plan upcoming changesPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and post-mortem reportsContribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and the evolution of the infrastructureWhat You BringA technical background in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience in network and security operations environmentsSolid knowledge of:Routing and switching in multivendor environments (Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, Juniper, VyOS)Network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and VRRPSecurity platforms including FortiGate, NSX, or SDN solutionsMonitoring and diagnostic toolsThe confidence to lead technical tasks in critical environments and collaborate effectively across teamsStrong English communication skills, both spoken and written, in an international settingWillingness to participate in a rotating on-call scheduleNice to HaveRelevant technical certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Juniper, or VMware NSXExperience or knowledge in network automation using tools like Python or AnsibleEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
