Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls and greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive follow-up and communication
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Conducting customer-focused, needs-based reviews to educate customers about insurance options and provide personalized recommendations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date on industry developments, products, and services to provide expert advice and guidance to customers
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and sales targets

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to obtain a Property Casualty license and a Life and Health license (arenaflex will provide support and resources to help you achieve these certifications)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
