Key Responsibilities:

As an experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to customers using accounting software, including QuickBooks Online and comparable solutions
  • Troubleshooting issues, resolving problems, and answering questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other technical topics
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other key concepts
  • Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone, via email, or through other communication channels
  • Cross-selling relevant products and services to customers, while addressing their concerns and needs
  • Maintaining a high level of technical proficiency, staying up-to-date with the latest software releases and updates
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality
  • Bookkeeping and accounting expertise, including experience with AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other key concepts
  • Proven customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service over the phone or through other communication channels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Comfort with technology, including computers, software applications, and other digital tools
  • A friendly, professional demeanor, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a focus on resolving complex issues and improving customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with other accounting software solutions, including Xero, Sage, or other comparable products
  • A degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Experience with cross-selling and upselling products and services, with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers
