About the Role

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from optimizing customer acquisition and retention strategies to developing predictive models for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization. You'll use your technical skills and business acumen to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Use quantitative analysis and data visualization to identify trends and patterns in large datasets

• Design and implement full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
• Work with and mentor junior analysts to develop advanced techniques and solve complex problems
• Produce actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, document, validate, and deploy data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain statistical models and algorithms to support business objectives
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive business outcomes

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related role
• Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages such as Matlab, R, SAS, or Python
• Proficiency in one or more analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Chartio, Looker, Tableau)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, machine learning, and statistical inference
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a related field

• Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or D3.js
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
