Freelance Shopify Developer with beauty brands experience
Job Title: Part-Time Shopify Developer (10 hours/week) Job Description: We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to support our eCommerce team on a part-time basis (5–10 hours/week). You’ll handle site updates, troubleshoot issues, customize themes, and improve performance to ensure a seamless shopping experience. This role requires both front-end and server-side development experience. Responsibilities:
- Implement theme and layout changes
- Optimize site speed and overall performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify issues
- Support product launches and promotional updates
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams
- Manage and customize backend functionality, integrations, and data flow
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Shopify development experience in beauty, wellness or related industry
- Strong front-end skills (Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with server-side development and APIs
- Experience with Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Maintain clear tracking of tasks, and deployments
- Use disciplined QA and release process with logs and rollback readiness
