Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Moderation Specialist

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. If you're a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules
• Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Harassment or bullying + Inappropriate content or links

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after a thorough investigation and warning process
• Muting users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruption
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking appropriate action
• Collaborating with other moderators to ensure a consistent and fair enforcement of community guidelines
• Providing exceptional customer service to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Staying up-to-date with arenaflex's community guidelines and policies, and adapting to changes as needed

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with Discord and its features
• Basic understanding of community management principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a moderator or community manager in a similar online community

• Knowledge of arenaflex's community guidelines and policies
• Familiarity with arenaflex's services and products
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
