Job Summary

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will work closely with our Quality Control team to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing large datasets with precision and accuracy. Your findings will inform process improvements, enhance compliance, and support our organization's objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving consistency.

Responsibilities and Expectations

The responsibilities and expectations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
  • Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
  • Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
  • Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
  • Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, outlining the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team.
  • Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
  • May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An involved ability to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets with precision and accuracy.
  • The capacity to effectively listen, understand, and communicate thoughts and present recorded in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences.
  • The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
  • The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
  • The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred
  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred
  • The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment
  • The ability to focus on responsibilities diligently and be a self-motivated individual.
  • Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
  • The ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
