Job Summary

As a Customer Engineer in our Security team, you'll work closely with clients, sales teams, and product development groups to identify and address technical and compliance issues, develop solutions, and drive business growth. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting our security solutions, and providing expert guidance to C-level executives, security leaders, developers, and analysts. Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance issues, and develop strategies to address technical blockers.

  • Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments.
  • Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver product messaging to feature our solutions' value proposition using methods including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response reports.
  • Attend client sites, meetings, and other relevant events where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting our security solutions and providing expert guidance to C-level executives, security leaders, developers, and analysts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and effective.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field).

  • At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of cloud security and technical issues.
  • Proven experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security management, or identity and access management frameworks).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical blockers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and success.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field).

  • Certification in the Cloud or Security industry (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience in conducting security assessments for clients (e.g., threat hunting, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, or SIEM and incident response).
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, and others).
  • Experience working with cloud-based security solutions, including cloud security posture management, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
