Key Responsibilities: Monitor cryptocurrency exchange platforms for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of the platform, including smart contracts and APIs. Investigate and respond to security incidents, including unauthorized access, data breaches, and fraud. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for cryptocurrency exchanges. Analyze blockchain transaction patterns to detect illicit activities such as money laundering and fraud. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement security controls and countermeasures. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in blockchain and cryptocurrency security. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified security risks. Manage and maintain security monitoring tools and systems. Provide security awareness training to internal staff. Assist in compliance efforts related to cybersecurity regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on blockchain or cryptocurrency security. Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptography, and digital asset security. Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Knowledge of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques in the cryptocurrency space. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to financial institutions and crypto exchanges. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
