We maintain a startup vibe, but with the resources and security of an established “corporate” company.  About the role: We seek a Mobile React Native Developer to join an agile team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our consumer-facing shopping application that is part of our market-leading e-commerce platform for groceries. Our e-commerce platform is built from the ground up on MACH principles and deployed on Kubernetes in Google Cloud. We leverage Microsoft .NET core to build Microservices leveraging Mass Transit, Rabbit MQ, Pub/Sub, Docker, and persistent stores including Event Store, Elastic, Mongo, and Redis to support high-scale customers. Our mobile application is built on React-Native and TypeScript.

This is a fully remote (contractor) position and we welcome all applicants currently within the European Union.  What you will be doing:

• Work within an agile team to build a world-class consumer application
• Write clean and scalable code that others can work on
• Analyze requirements and design
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues
• Provide input for software and technological innovations

What you bring to the table:

• Experience and knowledge in building mobile applications for the consumer market
• Knowledge of React Native, Firebase, and mobile design principles
• An interest in learning and using the latest development techniques
• Experience with mobile app testing & security
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with code versioning tools
• An interest in learning and using the latest development techniques
