If you thrive in sales leadership, technical solutions, and people development, this role is for you. Metrohm Canada is looking for a National Sales Manager to lead our Canadian commercial strategy and high‑performing sales teams nationwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Set and execute a national sales strategy aligned with Metrohm Canada’s growth objectives, translating corporate goals into actionable regional plans while owning forecasting, pipeline performance, CRM discipline, and revenue delivery.
  • Sales & Marketing Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing national sales organization, setting clear expectations, building territorial business plans, set clear KPIs and accountability frameworks, and fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Act as a senior commercial leader with key and strategic customers, supporting complex opportunities, strengthening value‑based selling, and adapting strategy based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, Applications, Service, and Technical Support to ensure a cohesive go‑to‑market approach, effective handoffs, and consistent messaging across the customer lifecycle.
  • Financial & Operational Accountability: Own national sales budgets, forecasting, pricing discipline, and margin performance while contributing to annual business planning, executive reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Canadian employment practices.

What You Bring

  • 8–12+ years of progressive sales experience, including senior sales leadership roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline required
  • MBA or master’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Strong background selling scientific instrumentation, laboratory solutions, or technical capital equipment
  • Proven success leading a national or multi‑regional sales organization
  • Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams
  • High level of business, financial, and forecasting acumen
  • Understanding of laboratory science and analytical chemistry
  • Based in Ontario with regular national travel required

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $110,000 – $150,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation, tied to individual and company performance.
