Our client, a premier, exclusive golf club located in the heart of Delhi, Delhi, IN, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head Golf Professional to lead its golf operations. This is a distinguished opportunity to manage all facets of the golf experience, from instruction and retail to player development and course operations. You will be responsible for upholding the club's reputation for excellence, fostering a welcoming environment for members and guests, and driving the growth of the game at all levels. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional golf acumen, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service within a luxury setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the golf shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales to maximize revenue. Develop and implement a comprehensive golf instruction program for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced golfers. Manage and mentor the golf professional team, ensuring high standards of service, professionalism, and skill development. Organize and execute successful golf tournaments, events, and clinics for members and guests. Manage the club's player development programs, including junior golf initiatives and clinics. Oversee the club's golf equipment fitting and repair services. Ensure the smooth operation of the driving range and practice facilities. Collaborate with the course superintendent to maintain optimal course conditions relevant to playability and aesthetics. Serve as a brand ambassador for the club, embodying its values and commitment to excellence. Develop and manage the golf operations budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Stay abreast of the latest trends in golf instruction, equipment, and club management. Qualifications: PGA or equivalent professional certification is a MUST. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a golf professional role, with at least 3 years in a Head Professional or Assistant Head Professional capacity. Proven experience in golf instruction, player development, and tournament management. Strong knowledge of golf operations, retail management, and merchandising best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele. Demonstrated success in managing budgets and staff. Passion for the game of golf and a commitment to providing exceptional member/guest experiences. Proficiency in golf management software (e.g., Jonas, Club Prophet Systems) and POS systems. A professional and polished demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
