Job description: Johnsburg School District 12 is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill vacancies as Substitute Teachers.
Partial and full days available on a regular basis.

Substitute Pay ranges from $125-$248.65 per day (including TRS) depending on assignment.
REQUIREMENTS:
To work as a Substitute Teacher you must hold one of the following:
- A valid Substitute Teaching Licenese
- A Professional Educator License
- An Educator License with Stipulations or
- A Paraprofessional License with a Bachelors Degree.
- Hold a bachelor?s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
- Beginning January 1, 2023, applicants enrolled in an approved Illinois educator preparation program may qualify for the substitute license if they have completed at least 90 semester hours of coursework.
- Substitute licenses are valid for substitute teaching in all grades of public schools, prekindergarten through grade 12.
- Substitute licenses are valid for 5 years, and may be renewed with the payment of registration fees.
