Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
Fox Corporation is a leading media company that produces and distributes content through various brands. They are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for preparing reports, conducting financial analysis, and supporting the budgeting process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of a weekly report for senior management
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and other stakeholders
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyze the company’s monthly and quarterly financial results, including variance reporting
- Help prepare quarterly board and audit committee packages
- Aid in the review and analysis of financials during the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Provide analysis and support on an ad hoc basis
- Help with the ongoing Financial Planning & Analysis Enterprise Planning implementation
Skills
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 0-3+ years of work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Close attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects
- Ability to learn new systems implemented
- Strong written and communication skills
- Quick learner who is both motivated to work independently and a team player
- Self-motivated to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment
- CPA candidate
- Previous experience with database management
