Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Case Assistant to join our Mass Torts team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who takes direction well but is also not afraid to seek clarification and ask questions when appropriate. Exercising sound discretion and judgment are imperative as there will be a lot of direct contact with clients, many of whom are under tremendous stress and may feel overwhelmed. This is a remote role.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

$25.00-$27.00/hour

Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Key Responsibilities

The Big Picture

Case Assistants support attorneys and legal staff by managing case-related information, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a point of contact for clients while ensuring timely and organized case progression.

Specific Tasks

  • Communicate effectively with clients and gather necessary case information with empathy and professionalism.

  • Manage electronic information, including document management and document review.

  • Maintain organization across multiple time-critical projects and deadlines.

  • Utilize case management software (preferably FileVine) and Microsoft/Adobe tools to support daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with case management software, preferably FileVine.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work remotely.
