Rotational Analyst - Nelnet Bank

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through key departments (e.g. Credit, Compliance, Operations, Risk) within the bank to support current initiatives
  • Work closely with Nelnet leaders to learn practices at all levels of the institution
  • Assist with process improvement, data analysis, reporting, and documentation
  • Support leadership and department managers with research, projects, and execution
  • Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and special projects as institutional needs evolve
  • Gain working knowledge of banking regulations, internal controls, and practices
  • Contribute to customer-focused initiatives
  • Collaborate with different teams across the company by communicating, problem solving, and planning
  • Provide support for Bank Board of Director and Community Reinvestment Act activities

Skills

  • Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Quantitative Analytics or Technology completed by May 2026
  • Proven desire to innovate, take on multiple responsibilities, and pursue professional and personal growth
  • Sharp analytical and data management skills
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions
