[Remote] Associate Analytics Consultant | New Consultant Accelerator Program (NCAP)

DSC is a fast-growing analytics consulting firm focused on modernizing data infrastructure and improving reporting for various organizations. They are hiring for the New Consultant Accelerator Program, which is designed for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, modeling, and business intelligence. The program includes a technical bootcamp and opportunities to work on client-facing projects with senior consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and APIs
  • Model and transform data using SQL and modern warehousing practices
  • Develop and optimize cloud data warehouses including Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks
  • Build insightful dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or Looker
  • Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Maintain documentation and ensure data quality standards

Skills

  • Candidates must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Strong SQL fundamentals and a working knowledge of Python for data transformation
  • Foundational understanding of data modeling principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High-ownership mentality and reliability
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Prior experience through internships, co-ops, or personal projects
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
  • Previous exposure to consulting or client-facing work, demonstrating active listening and a client-oriented mindset
  • Participation in case competitions, hackathons, or analytics competitions
