We’re covering one creator’s travel expenses up to $20,000 to investigate the next wave of digital nomad destinations.
In your eyes, which destinations have the potential to become the next Lisbon? The next Bali? Consider everything from the cost of living to the digital infrastructure. Everything from safety to community. We want to work with someone who has lived experience as a nomad, and knows what it really takes to thrive globally. We will sponsor one creator to design, document, and share an experience that explores the world’s rising nomad capitals. You will…
- Create your own travel route across 3 emerging nomad destinations
- Evaluate each location (based on community, WiFi reliability, access to visas, lifestyle, cost of living and more)
- Document your experience through thoughtful, story-driven content (written, photo, and/or video)
- Compare cities and share your prediction for the next global nomad hub
- Prepare a final summary or presentation of your residency and key learnings for the SafetyWing team
- Manage your budget
You are…
- A creative content creator and storyteller
- An excellent English speaker and writer
- Deeply curious about global living, mobility, and the future of work
- A lover of living abroad and engaging with local environments and communities
- Highly independent and able to take ownership of your journey
- Able to commit at least 2 months to exploring new Nomad destinations starting in August 2026
- Established, with an audience (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or blog) of over 10,000 people
You’ll get…
- US$20,000 in travel expenses based on the budget plan you submit
- Credit to be used on SafetyWing’s website towards your coverage
- Creative freedom to design your own route and narrative
How does it work?
- Tell us where you’d go during your residency and why (you can either create a video, write an essay, or make a presentation)
- Break down how you’d use your US$20k budget (think flights, coworking spaces, and accommodations)
- To qualify, join the SafetyWing ambassador program (you are not required to promote the company as part of your application)
