[Remote] Field Service Technician (Remote - Portland, ME)

As a Field Service Technician, you will enhance client experiences by delivering exceptional service, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and ensuring clients are well-trained in using Pitney Bowes technologies.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service that drives client satisfaction, retention, and trust
• Diagnoses, repair, and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues to reduce downtime and callbacks
• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping & Mailing equipment, ensuring clients are fully trained and confident in their use
• Manage a multi‑zip‑code territory within 4 hours of Billings, MT, with up to 80% driving time
• Use hand tools and small power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment always

Skills

• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Can lift 55+ lbs
• Can bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods
• Enjoy working with and repairing mechanical or electrical components
• Comfortable with significant driving time and working independently in the field
• Motivated by the opportunity to earn additional income through service and parts sales
• Familiar with Windows, PCs, and basic networking
• Experience with automated or electro-mechanical equipment
