Job Summary To maintain secure operations as we scale, we are seeking an experienced Identity Provider (IDP) Analyst to join our IT Security team. This role is integral to managing and securing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring that users have the appropriate access to technology resources. As an Identity and Access Management Analyst at HaloMD, you'll use your skills in identity management and access control technologies, like SailPoint and Microsoft Entra, to strengthen our security posture, maintain regulatory and compliance requirements, and support Technology Department efforts. You'll contribute to planning, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions to meet performance and security needs.

Responsibilities

  • Microsoft Entra ID, and SailPoint.
  • Provide timely response to identity and access ticket requests.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor IAM solutions for networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Manage information permissions and facilitate information access requests.
  • Troubleshoot, manage, and maintain IAM systems.
  • Adapt IAM solutions to fit growing company needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IAM systems, including configuration, change management, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, regulatory requirements, and emerging technology/trends to proactively address IAM risks and needs.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor systems for identity management, authentication, and access control.
  • Participate in regular audits of IAM systems, users/information access controls, regulatory compliance, and other items as needed.
  • Support Security Operations team with identification, containment, remediation, and analysis of security incidents.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to information security or equivalent professional experience, including:
  • 2-3 years of experience with identity access and management systems.
  • Experience with the following identity management technology:
  • IDP (Inc. conditional access and multifactor authentication)
  • Microsoft Entra experience required
  • Priviledged Access Management/ Privileged Identity Management (PAM/PIM)
  • SailPoint experience highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional documentation capabilities including experience preparing formal reports.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
