[Remote] Electrical Engineer

Atlas Copco Group is a company focused on innovation and collaboration, and they are seeking an Electrical Engineer responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of systems integrating electrical components. The role involves designing and integrating electrical concepts, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing/integrating various electrical concepts and products for both existing and new products
  • Work interactively in cross functional teams to produce new products and improve existing products
  • Ensure designs meet product specifications and comply with industry and regulatory standards
  • Design and document using Ceres or customer design process and CAD systems
  • Produce presentation and documentation as needed for engineering and customer reviews of design work
  • Work with other functions to develop test requirement and build documentation to ensure quality and functionality of products
  • Support manufacturing in troubleshooting electrical issues in first article builds as well as standard product as required
  • Identify key risks in designs or product and work with team on mitigation plans and or prototype tests to reduce/eliminate risk of electrical modules
  • Participate and support quality processes such as DFMEA, PFMEAs , 8D etc
  • Engages team to proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Work with other functions to coordinate effort to support business needs
  • Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company’s image with customers
  • Attends and participates in customer, departmental or company meetings
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures
