Payroll Specialist

Nascentia Health is a leader in post-acute and long-term community-based care, and they are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support their Payroll Manager and team. The role involves maintaining employee payroll data, assisting with payroll reporting, and ensuring accurate payroll processing across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing employee late time sheets, time and attendance timecards and payroll reports from all systems used in both a timely and accurate manner
• Assist employees with questions regarding payroll related issues
• Completing verification of employment forms
• Handling of garnishment entries
• Processing of weekly planned and unplanned reports for all Home Health Aides
• Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance standards
• Maintain both patient and employee confidentiality
• Demonstrate knowledge and use of any active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or department director

Skills

• High school diploma with relevant payroll experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Human Resources/Payroll systems
• Accurate data entry a must
• Proficiency with 10 key calculators
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
• Associate's degree preferred
• ADP experience strongly preferred
