Jr. Mechanical Engineer
Amentum is seeking a junior mechanical engineer interested in HVAC and building design for their Annapolis Junction, Maryland office. The candidate should have a demonstrated record of achievement and work ethic to join this high performing group committed to delivering consistently high-quality work and service to clients.
Skills
- Degreed Mechanical Engineer from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Must be a US Citizen
- Zero to three years of experience in HVAC and building design with understanding of HVAC and heat transfer principles
- Full-time in the office. Hybrid and remote work are not practical for this position
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite of software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint
- Must be competent with AutoCAD. Desirable to have a working knowledge of Revit
- Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance
