ANALYST II
Caltrans is the California Department of Transportation, dedicated to providing a safe and reliable transportation network. They are seeking an Analyst II to provide administrative, training, and analytical support for the Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Program, managing cases related to employees with workers' compensation claims.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with employees, supervisors, and managers regarding medical issues, reasonable accommodation, return to work, and other related concerns
- Coordinating with various stakeholders regarding assigned cases
- Reviewing and interpreting medical reports to determine the most appropriate course of action
- Maintaining accurate and complete case documentation using electronic daim files housed in a shared network drive, spread sheets, and database
- Evaluating, authorizing, and/or recommending claim settlement solutions
- Facilitating resolution of employment status for employees unable to return to work in their usual occupation
Skills
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

- The SQQ must be typed, no more than one page in length, and 12-point Arial font
