Business Development Representative, SMB

Steer is a company that offers a suite of software tools for automotive repair shops, focusing on customer retention and marketing. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to uncover new business opportunities, conduct product demos, and guide customers through a consultative sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound cold calls and lead online product demos
  • Become an expert in our SaaS product and target market
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts in our CRM
  • Use a consultative approach to tailor solutions to prospect needs

Skills

  • 1+ years of sales experience with proven quota attainment
  • Experience running product demos/consultations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work onsite in Waltham, MA, 5 days/week
  • SaaS sales experience
  • Automotive industry knowledge
  • CRM expertise for pipeline management
  • Experience with a fast sales cycle (1-2 call close)
